NVIDIA would be about to present the RTX 4070, with a probable sale for next April 13. Shortly after, the RTX 4060 may arrive, of which NVIDIA would be preparing a founder’s edition, which today would become the reference model because they use the same frequencies. Several images of this reference model have now emerged.
If authentic, the company would use the same cooling design as for the rest of the RTX 40 Founders Edition, which means a fan and a thick heatsink. Its consumption is expected to be around 120 W, so it would not have a great need for cooling.
The one who has published the images, the Twitter account @KittyYYuko, has indicated that although it says “RTX 4060” it could actually be an “RTX 4060 Ti”, without elaborating. Rumors said that this RTX 4060 would have 3072 CUDA, less than the 3584 CUDA of the RTX 3060, with a notable reduction in memory bandwidth, so it is not clear to me that the rumors are going to hit the mark with the characteristics of the RTX 4070, RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060.
