Valve chose a few weeks ago to publish the dates of the sale periods and sales festivals for all of Steam 2023. That is why the fact that the spring sales period has started today should not surprise anyone, taking into account that the offers will be active until March 23, once the boreal spring has begun on March 20.
The Steam website already includes all these offers, with some additional reduction compared to the last periods of sales that have taken place. Video game companies are having a hard time in these early stages of 2023 as people are redirecting spending to basic necessities due to the sharp increase in food or energy prices.
Games from more than a couple of years ago are at their usual sale prices, but there are some recently released titles that are already slightly discounted like dead space 3. Recent games can be found on much cheaper key sites, but that just goes to show that video game sales are still sluggish.
