samsung has announced a couple of mid-range additions to its catalogue, the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G, being models that lack nothing. The aesthetics are similar, with flat edges and IP67 certified protection against water and dust. They have a 5000 mAh battery with 25 W fast charging via USB Type C.
The screen is similar although of a different size, 16.3 or 16.8 cm diagonal with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, being Super AMOLED with a 120 Hz refresh rate. To add a little more interest to these phones, Samsung has added stereo speakers.
The processor is a Dimensity 1080 in the A34 while the A54 includes an Exynos 1380. They have at least 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, with a micro-SD card reader up to 1 TB. Both have 802.11ax Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G and NFC. They arrive with Android 13 pre-installed.
The camera system is similar although the resolution of the sensors changes. The Galaxy A34 5G has a rear camera of 48 Mpx and ƒ/1.8 with optical image stabilizer, a secondary of 8 Mpx and ƒ/2.2 with an ultra-wide angle of 123º and a tertiary of 5 Mpx and ƒ/2.4 of photomacrography. Those of the A54 only change in the resolution of the first two, 50 Mpx and 12 Mpx. Record video up to 4K and 30 f/s. The front is 13 or 32 Mpx and ƒ/2.2, which also record at UHD and 30 f/s.
