
M: YES has announced a new monitor aimed at the economic sector of gamers, the G2712. It includes a 68.6 cm (27 in) IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 170 Hz. It achieves a maximum brightness of 250 nits, a static contrast ratio of 1100:1 and has an MPRT of 1 ms.
Color quality is good, covering 101.9% of the sRGB color scale. It has an anti-glare finish. It features FreeSync Premium adaptive refresh, and other image enhancement technologies, including the usual anti-flicker and blue light reduction.
The monitor stand only allows tilt adjustment, but can be removed to accommodate a 100mm × 100mm VESA mount. It includes two HDMI 1.4b and a DisplayPort 1.2a, although only in the latter can it reach 170 Hz.
